Judith (the owner) is a remarquable hostess.and she is a great cooker She gives you good recommandations for restaurants and visits. The food is fresh . The rooms are clean. The best of Port Colborne for sure.
We recently stayed here while we were in town for a wedding. This was the best B&B we have stayes in. Well kept, clean, comfy and very at home feeling. Judith is very friendly and makes you feel at home from the moment she greets you at the door. Oh and the breakfast she makes was amazing! We will definitely be making another stay in the future.
There is no better way to say it - we just love Talwood Manor! It is pure luxury and comfort in a gorgeous Victorian home. Judith is a host extraordinaire - friendly, warm, most accommodating and perhaps best of all, an accomplished gourmet cook. Our favourite is her Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon - it is to die for! Talwood Manor is our number one choice whenever we are in Port Colborne and area. Most recently, we were there on December 27, 2017 for one night. We stayed in the Tudor Room with it's comfortable four-poster canopy bed and huge private bath. The Victorian dcor and attention to detail are remarkable. Judith goes out of her way to look after her guests. Do yourself a favour and book a stay at Talwood Manor - once you discover it, you'll be charmed!
Exceptional.Hostess Judith welcomes you into her home and we have been spoiled now for a B&B experience elsewhere.No detail is overlooked.Complimentary beverage area with an assortment of choices, toiletries and thoroughly appointed rooms await. And by thoroughly, I mean thoroughly. Individually controlled a/c , hair dryer, glass water pitchers, crisp linens, fan-folded towels and more. The rooms are simply lovely. Breakfast is an elegant, delicious affair.This was hands down the very best B&B we have ever had the pleasure to visit.
