First time in since new owners took over. It looks great! They have a new restaurant out back where the kids can play pool and watch the ships pass, or watch a game on the big screens. Everything is set up so you could have a birthday or team party there. The thursday wings and pizza tray special is awesome. The wings were big, cooked perfectly and the pizza crust was delicious. We will be back.
Food is good. Chicken wings are a tad over cooked at times but if mentioned they will accommodate. All and all it is a nice place to go for a quick bite.
Extremely disappointed with our experience. Ordered takeout and was to pick up the meal in 30 to 40 minutes. When we arrived at the 40 minute timeframe, our order was not ready and we waited another 15 minutes to get the food. Shame on me, I shouldve checked the order for accuracy, but trusted that you would get all of your meal. Drove 10 minutes back to our friends place, and found out that three of the items we ordered were not in our package. Called back to advise that the order was incomplete and we were told that it just finished cooking and they didnt put it in our package. No apology was made for the error. We requested delivery which then took 40 minutes to arrive at our location, meanwhile they said a driver was right there and could run it to us ASAP. The driver must have taken the scenic route. On top of this, the driver thinks hes being funny by telling me that it wasnt his mistake. (Not the right time to try and be funny)Now you may as well, top off the experience with the food quality. The order of chicken strips & 2 sides of fries looked and tasted like they had been cooked in oil that should have been changed last year.No concession was offered for the poor service, and the food was so terrible that we couldnt eat the meal.
Horrendous. 20 mins. late on pick-up. Twice this place has forgotten to include the wings with the pizza. Asked to speak with the manager, he hid behind the wall...apparently making too much money to regard customer service. If you want a great pizza and good customer service, go to The Lock. I'll never go to Super Mario's again.
Great pizza! The crust was light and flavourful, the sauce was plentiful as well as tasty. The pizza was loaded with fresh toppings. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised that the pizza far exceeded my expectations. Leftover pizza didn't last a day at home. We will definitely be back. Keep up the good work SMP!
